Bay Run 2017, August 6
Attention LPS Run Club Members and Other Interested Runners,
For the past three years LPS has participated in the 2km Primary Schools Challenge event which is part of the annual Bay Run. This year it will be held on Sunday, August 6 and we are encouraging all our young runners to go online to register for this event as a 'Leichhardt Public School' student. Every year we run as a team and always wear the official LPS running singlet which is available on loan from the front office. As well we encourage students to wear the official LPS athletics shorts (PSSA shorts) which are available for $15 at the front office. For the last two years LPS has held the crown for the 'highest number of participants' in the event and we want to hold on to this title.
How do I register for the 2km Primary School Challenge?
Just enter as a participant, select the 2km Primary School Challenge option and make sure you select your school where you are asked “if you are participating in the 2km Primary Schools Challenge please indicate your school”. You do not have to enter as a team.
